RIR’s state-of-the-art facility will be part of a SiC power campus in Bhubaneswar. With a total project investment of ₹618 crore, it represents a defining milestone in India’s semiconductor journey. Backed with significant support by the Government of Odisha, this landmark project stands as a testament to the synergy of visionary leadership and strong policy support, laying the foundation for India’s SiC semiconductor ecosystem from the ground up.

A Facility Built for Global Leadership:
RIR’s Bhubaneswar plant will manufacture high-power SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, and diodes ranging from 3.3 kV to 20 kV. The facility is expected to generate more than 500 skilled jobs across R&D, engineering, and operations. SiC wafer epitaxy production is set to commence by March 2026, with phased commercial rollouts thereafter.
